Senior Director CRO Business Development & Account Management

 

The Client is a leading and growing Clinical Research Organization in Central Europe, particularly strong in oncology trials on behalf of leading pharmaceutical drug development companies on the Continent. It already employs more than 200 top professionals. It wishes to further grow in this fascinating market place and is therefore looking for senior candidates developing its business even further. Clients today are Pharm / Biotech companies across Europe and overseas, also medical device companies.

Tasks:

Directing and managing a department of professionals looking after further business opportunities and managing existing accounts.

  • Critical role in developing and executing the sales strategy
  • Critical impact on pricing and structuring the project proposals
  • Continuous management and training of his / her staff
  • Active support  in new client acquisition and in widening business with current clients
  • Constant relationships with key decision makers in client organizations
  • Constant monitoring and updating of business development opportunities

 Profile:

  • Ideally, years of experience in selling Clinical Contract research
  • Experience in drug development, specifically in oncology
  • Interest in commercial matters and a certain understanding of those
  • Excellent English language capabilities; German language skills need to be developed
  • Ability to shape organizations and processes, good communication and team playing
  • Interest in business travelling
